A NH Faith-Based Conversation on White Supremacy
Thursday, March 18, 2021, 6:00 p.m.
This event will be held online. Register for this event on Zoom.
See and share this event on Facebook.
Members of the Jewish, Catholic and Protestant faith communities of New Hampshire invite you to a conversation about our faiths and race relations. This online program follows-up to two earlier online conversations on faith and racial inequities in December and January.
The subject of this meeting is the state of white supremacy in New Hampshire.
The guest speaker will be Melissa Kraus, Esq., the Associate Regional Director at ADL New England. In that role, she leads the office’s work on legislative priorities and coalition work, including genocide education in New Hampshire. She also works on ADL New England’s incident response and community programming. Before starting at ADL, Melissa was a judicial law clerk in the Massachusetts Appeals Court. She received her JD from Boston University School of Law.
After we hear her insights on white supremacy and extremism in NH, we will continue our community conversation about the problem of racism and intolerance in our society.
The panel will be moderated by Peter McBride, Director, Cohen Center for Holocaust & Genocide Studies at Keene State College.
This conversation will continue on Wednesday, April 21 with details to come soon. Movie event on Bloody Sunday in Selma
