The Kent Street Coalition, the American Friends Service Committee, Loudon Democrats and Independents, Canterbury Citizens for Democracy, and Wilton-NH Peace Action are proud to offer the third of a series of forums on immigration in America.
The forum will feature a discussion of the history of US foreign, military and economic policy toward Central America & Mexico; the history of US immigration policy and the influence of racism and nativism; the impact of US policies on immigrant communities in New Hampshire; and the elements of a more humane immigration policy.
The panelists will be Lucy Salyer, UNH Professor of History; Gabe Camacho, an immigrant rights organizer in greater Boston; Eva Castillo of the NH Alliance for Immigrants and Refugees; and Maggie Fogarty of the AFSC NH program
October 4th Sunday Program Oct 27 will be a discussion of the new chapter of Faith and Practice on “Dying, Death and Bereavement”. Please look it over carefully to see if it speaks fully to the topic to you as a Friend in New England Yearly Meeting.
