Dover will have a retreat on Sept. 16 entitled “Nudged Into Action.”  It is a day-long retreat to discuss and reflect about the process of being led by the spirit of God.

Friends from Dover Quarter participated in climate change pilgrimage organized by NEYM.  The march went through Dover Quarter, including stops at 3 Friends meetinghouses.  The people on the pilgrimage slept at Dover meeting, worshipped at West Epping Meeting and worshipped outside the coal powered plant in Bow with Concord Friends.  Marian Baker reported that the pilgrimage stimulated great interest from the NH Council of Churches, noting Quaker efforts in climate change.

The meeting for business closed at 1:05 p.m. to start the program regarding Friends mission to Cuba.  Mary and Maggie Fogarty of Dover Meeting presented their experiences as part of the multi-generational delegation to our sister meeting of Cuba Friends in Holguin.
