The meeting began with a period of silent worship.
7.1 Budget Committee Report
The Meeting reviewed the Balance Sheet and the Income/Expense Operating Budget Report provided by Dave Woolpert, Treasurer. Total income was $2,414 as of today and expenses totaled $1,810.
7.2 Representatives to Yearly Meeting Sessions
The Meeting appointed Jay Smith, Sara Smith, Mark Barker, and Virginia Barker to be representatives for Concord Monthly Meeting to New England Yearly Meeting 2012 sessions, August 4-9 in Smithfield, RI.
7.3 Eighth Month Meeting for Business: The Meeting agreed to forego Meeting for Worship for the purpose of conducting business in Eighth Month.
7.4 Service Activities: Jay Smith invited Meeting to consider whether Concord Meeting might find a way to reflect on and engage more actively in service activities of Friends elsewhere (e.g., Friends Volunteer Service, which provides young adult Friends with opportunities for serving the poorest communities).
The meeting ended with a period of silent worship.
