Minutes of Meeting for Worship for Business
Concord (NH) Monthly Meeting
Religious Society of Friends
3rd Month 13, 2011
Concord (NH) Monthly Meeting gathered in Meeting for Worship for Business at the meetinghouse in Canterbury, NH. Friends present were: 6
The meeting began with a period of silent worship.
3.1 Budget Committee Report on the Operating Budget:
Dave Woolpert and Brian Paterson reported on current expenses and incomes. Summary is that we are in very good shape. Spreadsheet generation process has evolved nicely in its new format.
Income received is ahead of the YTD. We have about $3,000 to still collect, but Brian has received word from many donors that there is about $3,300 expected to come in by the end of the fiscal year. We are currently right on schedule for debt service. Rental expense is concluded. Snow removal billing and payments are still pending, but it looks like it will be within or under budget, barring May storms. On wood pellets, we are over budget for the year, but it is likely that we will make it to warm weather without another delivery. We have room for the possible unexpected costs between now and the end of the year. It was noted that “the sun seems to be coming out” literally and figuratively. The upcoming fundraiser with Annie Paterson and Peter Blood will also bring in some more general budget monies. It was agreed that we have enough in reserve and on its way that we should go ahead and release the funds that we have pledged to those organizations that we support. Report was accepted with gratitude for all the work put into its generation.
3.2 Other business:
All other business and committee reports were postponed to the 4th month meeting for business, due to lack of attendance at the meeting this month.
Meeting closed with a brief period of silence.
Minutes accepted when signed,
Sara Smith, acting Co-Clerk
