Concord (NH) Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends
10th Month 14, 2007
(As approved 11/11/2007)
Concord (NH) Monthly Meeting gathered in a regularly called Meeting for Worship for Business at the Merrimack Valley Day Care Center in Concord, NH.
The meeting was opened by the clerk with a period of worshipful silence
10.1 Minutes. The minutes of 9/9 were revised and approved.
10.2 AFSC. Jay and Sara Smith were appointed as representatives to the New Hampshire American Friends Service Committee Advisory Board.
10.3 Housing Committee. The committee has received a proposal from the Amoskeag Architectural Group (Don King) to create three preliminary sets of plans for three different designs. Then once we settle on one design to do more thorough plans to arrive at a cost estimate. Their quote for these services is about $3,900. The committee intends to move forward with this proposal as authorized in minute 2007.9.2.
10.4 Interfaith Council. Our representative to the Interfaith Council reported that the Crop Walk was very successful - with first time participation by the Church of the Latter Day Saints, and first time participation by two high school key clubs. Currently the Council is planning a Thanksgiving morning interfaith service.
Our meeting ended with a period of worshipful, grateful silence, purposing to meet again on the second First Day of Eleventh Month or at the call of the clerk.
Respectfully submitted,
