Minutes of Meeting for Worship for Business
Concord (NH) Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends
3rd Month 11, 2007

Concord (NH) Monthly Meeting gathered in a regularly called Meeting for Worship for Business at the Merrimack Valley Day Care Center in Concord, NH. Friends present were Don Booth, Lois Booth, Graham P. Chynoweth, Rich Kleinschmidt (recording clerk), Jay Smith, Sara Smith (clerk), Kathy Urie.
The meeting was opened by the clerk with a period of worshipful silence.
3.1 Minutes. The minutes from 2007 2nd Month were approved as circulated.
3.2 Committee on Care of the Meeting. The committee will undertake drafting a State of Society report for the Meeting’s consideration. The next meeting will be 7:15 on 2/21 at the Havenwood home of Don and Lois Booth.
3.3 Housing Committee. Representatives from the Housing Committee met with the board of the Appalachian Mountain Teen Project. AMTP has appointed a committee to work with us on this joint project.
3.4 State of Society. The Committee on Care of the Meeting presented a draft State of Society Report. We prayerfully considered the draft and referred it back to the committee for final (we hope) revisions.
The meeting ended with a period of worshipful, grateful silence, purposing to meet again on the second First Day of Fourth Month or at the call of the clerk.
3rd Month 25, 2007
Special Called Meeting
On 3/25 following our regular Meeting for Worship, our clerk called a special Meeting for Worship and Business. Friends present were Don Booth, Lois Booth, Graham P. Chynoweth, Peter Chynoweth, DavidFreeman-Wolpert, Ruth Heath, Rich Kleinschmidt (recording clerk), Kathy Mercer, Caleb Smith, Jay Smith, Sara Smith (clerk), Kathy Urie.
3.5 Grant Authorization. We authorized the clerk to sign and execute grant applications on behalf of the Meeting as prepared and recommended by the Housing Committee. (This action was considered at a called meeting so that we could meet an application deadline.)
