Updates from Greg:
GAP Mountain Drilling has brought the pipes from the two newly drilled wells into the mechanical room and are finishing up their end of the work. Given the work in progress in the Mechanical Room the Pathfinders will leave their room set up in the Fellowship Room again this Sunday.
UltraGeothermal will take over the work now and install the Water Force heat exchanger. Part of the system, a large buffer tank for holding warm water will be delivered on September 7th. They have received the heat exchanger so work can progress at a reasonable pace. We were told that the interior set-up should take about 100 person hours.
This Sunday singing will need to be in the Meeting Room rather than the Fellowship Room. We have to empty the mechanical room for the work to be done there. Some items may need to be stored for a short while in the meeting room as well.
Jonah is exploring ways to engage with the Advices & Queries and other short Quaker texts as a podcast or other recorded audio experiment. This idea is in very early and rough form, and he would appreciate feedback or volunteers to do some brief recording (no specialized equipment or previous experience needed). A fuller explanation and some early recordings are at

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Due to the ongoing construction the singing and Potluck again need to be in the Meeting Room. When you are planning what to bring, please remember that the stove top is not to be used per the Fire Department. Crockpots may be the best alternative.
Thank you
The ad hoc Fundraising committee has applied for a mini-grant from the Earthcare Fund for $1500 to help us install a geothermal ground-water heat pump system to heat our radiant floor. This grant is one of four that we are submitting to help with the cost of bringing us to zero carbon emissions (which will include our already solar supply of electric usage).
Please contact either Ruth H. or Dave Woolpert if you need more information or have questions.
(From his witness statement after his daughter was killed, Friends Journal 2002)
I know that love does not seek revenge. We do not want a life for a life. Love seeks healing, peace and wholeness Hatred can never overcome hatred. Only love can overcome hatred and violence. Love is that light. It is that candle that cannot be extinguished by all the darkness in the world.
